 Mark your calendar for Sunday, May 20, for the all-church fellowship meal at noon followed by the congregational meeting which starts at 1:00pm.  Bring a sidedish or two to share and enjoy the fellowship!  

 

Join us for our summer landscaping day on Saturday, May 26 at 9:00am.  Bring your garden tools and join us as we spruce up the church property.

 

What does God expect of us? Join the Adult Christian Formation class beginning April 22 as we study the book, The Hole in the our Gospel.  This radical, eye-opening series challenges us to six weeks of action-oriented awareness and one soul searching question from World Vision President, Richard Stearns:  "What does God expect of us?"  This class will meet Sunday mornings at 9:00am in the Great Room. 

 

Rocky Road Social Club: A Summer book adventure for women will offer a relaxing time of fellowship, frozen confections and a lively discussion of a captivating book, A Lineage of Grace:  Five Stories of Unlikely Women Who Changed Eternity, by Francine Rivers. VBS Registration has started for children 4 years through 5th grade. Please fill-out a registration form.  SONRISE National Park is scheduled for June 4 to June 8 from 9:00am to noon each day.  Please print off the registration form and mail it back to ECC or bring it by the church office during business hours (8:30am to 5:00pm Mon.-Fri.).  Remember if you are registering a child who has completed 5th grade, you must also fill out and return the Great Adventure permission slip.  Don't miss out on this fantastic summer event!

 

The ECC Vacation Bible School (VBS) for 2012 has several volunteer opportunities the week of June 4-8 including adults for guides, nursery workers, for a lunch program  which serve a small group of kids following VBS and the Friday night picnic.  If you are unable to volunteer during the day for VBS due to work, we have items that we would like donated for crafts and snacksA VBS volunteer brochure is available HERE.  If you would like more information about VBS, please email Ronda at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. Giving At ECC. Are you a person who doesn’t like carrying a checkbook or someone who would rather pay your bills online rather than write checks? More and more, people prefer to manage their bill paying and giving in this manner. Are you aware that ECC now offers a way for you to give to our church’s ministries through our online giving portal? Gifts can be designated to either the General or Building fund at ECC. You may give using a debit or credit card or direct withdrawal from your bank account. ONLINE GIVING IS HERE! If you are away on a Sunday or if you just like the convenience of online transactions, you may now give your tithes and offerings to ECC via our website. Here are the five simple steps:

1) Go to www.ecclife.net
2) Click on the “Giving” tab towards the top/right side of the screen
3) Click on “Ways to Donate”
4) Click on “Give to the Evangelical Covenant Church of Lafayette”
5) Follow the steps to make your donation.

If you are a first time user, you will need to create a login.

 

Part-Time Custodian.  ECC is curently looking for a 25-30 hour per week part-time custodian. Applications are available at the Welcome Center. Please submit applications to the church office.
