ECC will be a collection site for the Salvation Army as they seek to help Tippecanoe area children receive the supplies they need for the new school year. A collection box is located at the west counter. While you're shopping in the next few weeks, please pick up some of the many items you will find on sale at this time of year.
Supplies needed include:
*** New and gently used clothing for students aged 4 to 18 ***
- Lafayette 2nd & 3rd grade tablets * Two pocket folder, no prongs
- Letter sheet & penmanship tablets * Quart size freezer bags with zip top
- Lafayette primary paper tablets * Gallon size freezer bags with zip top
- Pedigree pink erasers * Highlighter-markers (yellow)
- Prang oval paints - 8 pan * Colored pencils, 12 count/24 count
- Washable markers * Solar powered calculators
- Black, Expo dry erase markers * 8 count large crayons
- Notebook filler paper * 8 count regular crayons
- Spiral notebook paper * Glue sticks
- Ball point pens, not retractable * Ball point pens, erasable
- Two pocket folders with prongs * Fiskars scissors, 5" pointed
- 1" 3-ring binders * Zippered pencil pouches
- New backpacks * School boxes (8 1/2" x 5 1/4" x 2 1/4")
Financial donations will also be accepted and used to purchase any shortages of school supplies.
