The Book of Jonah

Our mission at ECC is To know God, follow Jesus and pursue God's purposes in the world.  As we move into the Fall months, we want to begin to think about our mission and reflect on it, Biblically.  The place we are beginning in our study is an in-depth look at the book of Jonah. 

Jonah is a short book, but a mighty one with a rich story that speaks to the careful reader on multiple levels.  We recommend that you spend time reading the entire book in one setting, at least once.  And then, each week, try and make time to read through the passage for the week several times during the week.  Read the passages prayerfully, several times through, even out loud, asking God to show you what he has for you in the passage.
