Relational Intelligence Sermon Series + Couple Checkup
Relational Intelligence: Pursuing God's Purposes for Community
In John 17.20-23 Jesus prays for us. He prays that we, his disciples, will be one, just as he and the Father are one. In our oneness and unity, Jesus says, the world will know that the Father sent the Son. Unity, oneness and community are the best way to bear witness to God's goodness to us in Christ Jesus.
This summer (Sunday, June 8-Sunday, August 10) we are looking at two passages in the New Testament that teach us what God's ideal for community can look like: Romans 12 and 1 Corinthians 13. How are we to relate to one another? What are God's design and intention for the community of faith? How can we become better at it? We hope you'll dig in and join us!
Relational Intelligence PLUS:
The Couple Check-up!
Relational Intelligence is important for the community of faith, and our most intimate of relationships. If you are dating, engaged or married, we strongly encourage you to participate in The Couple Checkup (online assessment, book and class).
Purchase the book any Sunday this summer and you'll receive a voucher code for two assessments, instructions for using the voucher code, and a letter describing the goal of the Couple Checkup, and its place in the broader sermon series.
Results are completely confidential and sent directly to each couple. However, if you took the assessment before Sunday, June 1, the results will be included in a church-wide, anonymous composite assessment, as well. You can view a sample assessment report by clicking here. The cost for two assessments and the book is $28 (partial scholarships are available by contacting one of the pastors).
