Every year, hundreds of delegates for the larger Evangelical Covenant Church gather for our Annual Meeting, now referred to as Gather. Here we approve a budget for the year, welcome new churches into the fold, consecrate missionaries, ordain pastors, elect leaders, and celebrate the work God is doing in and through us as a denomination. It’s quite an event!
As the meeting prepares to get underway in Garden Grove, California over the next few days, we invite you to be in prayer for this meeting, for our communal discernment and wisdom, and for God to be glorified in our decisions and in the way those decisions are made. The Covenant Ministerium meets on June 28, and the Annual Meeting meets June 29-July 1. During this event, the Covenant livestreams the worship services each evening, June 29, 30, and July 1, at 7:00pm (PST). They can be viewed the next day, as well.
