In a season of discerning a possible name change for ECC, several people met regularly for one year to pray, listen to God together, and to discuss what God is doing at ECC and how that might impact a possible name change. During this time, several passages emerged and informed our conversation and our discernment. These passages paved the way for the proposed new name, The Grove Covenant Church, which we will vote on in our next congregational meeting (October 13, 2024). In this series, we will specifically ask what God might be saying to us through these passages. We invite you to read, meditate, and pray through each passage along with us.
